Private Tour of Asakusa

Service Description

This tour blends the historic with the modern by bringing you to the heart of Asakusa. The tour begins at the main gate of Tokyo's oldest temple, Sensouji, built in 645AD. Leading to the temple is Nakamise-dori, where there are plenty of shops that are perfect for souvenir shopping. After the tour, enjoy a delicious lunch at a local restaurant. (Lunch is included! Choice of: sushi, soba, or fried pork. The tour ends with some delicious wagashi (Japanese sweets) alongside a cup of matcha tea in our very own traditional tea room! Learn how a tea master prepares matcha tea. As well, you will be able to perform the tea ceremony yourself!
